Gavin Shen is the Chief Operating Officer at BECIS with more than 20 years of international leadership experience across operations, project delivery, engineering, construction, and infrastructure development.
He is responsible for the performance of BECIS’ operations, championing operational excellence and providing flawless execution of our strategy, and sustainable performance
Previously, Gavin served as Chief Operating Officer of ENGIE South East Asia, where he led a diverse portfolio of energy assets and projects supporting the region’s energy transition. Throughout his career, he has led high-performing teams and delivered complex infrastructure and energy projects across Asia, Latin America, and Europe.
Gavin holds an MBA from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and Bachelor of Engineering (First Class), Mechanical & Production Engineering – Nanyang Technological University, Singapore
Chinie is the Managing Director for the Philippines, with overall responsibility for business performance, strategy execution, and organizational leadership in the market. She brings over 15 years of experience in renewable energy, business development, and project management.
Prior to joining BECIS, she served as Chief Operating Officer at Movem Electric, a green mobility subsidiary of Meralco, where she led the deployment of EV charging infrastructure and oversaw strategy, business development, and operations. In her role at BECIS, she works closely with Group leadership, the local management team, and clients to drive strategic priorities and sustainable growth in the Philippines.
Sreedhara is the Managing Director – India, with overall responsibility for business performance, strategy execution, P&L, and organizational leadership across the Indian market. He brings over 23 years of industry experience, including more than 20 years in solar and wind energy. He has led the development and execution of over 3 GW of utility-scale and C&I renewable energy projects across India and Southeast Asia, covering project development, engineering, procurement, execution, and asset management. He has held senior leadership roles at Berkeley Energy, Ecoren Energy, and Cleantech Solar, with full P&L responsibility.
Kidsada is the Managing Director for Thailand and Malaysia, with overall responsibility for business performance, strategy execution, and organizational leadership across both markets. With over 24 years of experience across power systems, energy services, and regional leadership roles, he has held senior positions at ABB, Siemens, Schneider Electric, Signify, Eaton, and Socomec. His experience covers system design, project management, strategic marketing, and business development across C&I, data centers, healthcare, and infrastructure sectors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Chulalongkorn University and an MBA from Mahidol University.
Isobel is the Chief Human Resources Officer at BECIS with more than 18 years international experience across Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America, focused on the energy and infrastructure sector. She is dedicated to fostering a people-centric environment and promoting a culture of high-performing teams, utilizing best practices in HR structures and systems.
Isobel has held HR leadership positions in operating energy companies as well as working directly for infrastructure funds and overseeing their portfolio companies for value creation.
Previously she worked for Actis as a Director in the energy Infra team, overseeing Human Capital across their global portfolio of investee companies in energy. She was also Vice President of Human Resources at Lekela and Globeleq both energy companies.
Isobel holds a BA in Business and Economics and Post Grad Diploma in Human Resource Management.
Anders Blom brings nearly two decades of investment expertise to the renewable energy sector, having worked across diverse markets spanning North and South America, Africa, Europe, and Asia. In his current role as Senior Vice President of Renewable Energy at Norfund, he directs strategic renewable energy investments throughout South and Southeast Asia. His professional background includes leadership positions at distinguished organizations such as SN Power, WWF, Equinor, and Fortum. Anders earned his Master of Science in Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and has contributed his expertise as a board member for several leading renewable energy companies.
Jasandra Nyker is an experienced investment executive and two-time CEO with over 20 years in renewable energy, infrastructure, and climate finance. She has led the deployment of over $1.2 billion into energy transition and power generation assets across Africa, Southeast Asia, the Americas, and Europe. As CEO of BioTherm Energy, she built and exited one of Africa’s first pan-regional renewable IPP platforms. At Nala Renewables, she established and scaled a commercial and industrial (C&I) energy platform in Southeast Asia, investing across the Philippines, Vietnam, and Singapore. As Managing Director of Denham Capital, she managed the Nexif Energy portfolio in Southeast Asia and prepared it for exit.
Jasandra also played a pioneering role in the clean energy sector as a senior investor in some of the world’s earliest clean energy and technology funds. She is currently the Managing Partner of Saja Climate Partners, holds an MBA from London Business School, and was named a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader in 2012.
Mark Ravunni is the CFO of BECIS with more than 30 years of experience across Asia. Mark has held Finance leadership regional roles in multiple multinationals since 2000 and has also managed operations, supply-chain, human resources, IT and administration functions. Mark’s focus is transforming enterprises by coaching and developing teams and building operational finance core capabilities. Prior to joining BECIS, he served as Vice President of Finance Asia & Country Manager Malaysia for Scatec ASA. Mark started his professional career with KPMG Peat Marwick and has also worked at Cargill, Ansell and Goodyear. Mark is a Chartered Accountant by profession with added MBA credentials.
John Walker AM, who was Chairman of Macquarie Capital Asia and Chairman of Macquarie Group, Korea, retired in 2020 after a 24-year career with Macquarie Group. John spent 23 years in Asia, initially in Korea where he led the establishment of Macquarie’s business there, and then more broadly across Asia in his regional role. Prior to Macquarie John had a 26-year career in Government in Australia where his roles included Director General of Transport in New South Wales and the Chief Executive of the Chief Ministers Department in the Australian Capital Territory. Across all these roles John has led businesses and new initiatives in the energy and infrastructure sectors across project development, advisory and funds. In recognition of his achievements John was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 1998 in recognition for his role in development of the transportation plan for the Sydney Olympics and his contribution to Government reform. Some years later he received a Citation from the President of Korea for his contribution to the development of Korea’s capital markets.
Qui Vo has a wealth of renewable energy investment experience and in-depth knowledge of management of renewable energy projects through feasibility, customer negotiation, engineering, execution, and operation. With more than 15 years of experience in the renewable energy, solution, and construction industry, he has successfully managed funding and delivery over 160MWp Solar projects, steam boiler projects, building facility construction projects in operation in Vietnam.
Qui Vo currently serves as the Country Manager of BECIS Vietnam, as well as the Execution and Operation Director for BECIS Vietnam and BECIS Cambodia. Prior to entering solar renewable energy, Qui Vo worked and gained experience across a range of countries on steam boilers, and building facilities/solutions including both engineering, manufacturing and execution. His previous employers include The Thermal Equipment and Renewable Energy Center located within the University of Technology HCMC Vietnam, Turner International LLC, Shire Oak International, Singapore Power Group. He received an Engineering Degree in Thermal, Electrical and Refrigeration Engineering.
Ugo is Head of Pricing Strategy & Sales Support. He has over 17 years of experience in the Energy Business spanning from oil &gas production to renewable energy. Ugo started his career in the up-stream oil & gas sector, on- and off-shore operations, patent development and sales for important industry players such as Shlumberger, Welltec, Total and Shell in Europe and West Africa. In 2017, Ugo embraced the emerging energy transition.
Ugo owns MS Degrees from Insa Lyon in mechanical engineering and an executive master from ESCP Europe in Energy Management/corporate finance.
Dionpius Jefferson is the Managing Director of Indonesia. Previously, he was the Deputy CEO of SUN Energy, where he spent 5 years growing the business across commercial, sales, marketing, operations, and licensing aspects.Before SUN Energy, he worked in various industry sectors for over 13 years, from automotive to telco. His roles included business analyst, IT analyst, consulting, corporate strategy, marketing analytics, and project management. He holds a Master of Business Administration from San Jose State University and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Parahyangan Catholic University.
Greg serves as the Country Manager & Execution Director at BECIS Philippines. With an extensive 30-year background in the energy sector, including 14 years specifically in the renewable energy industry in the Philippines, Greg brings a wealth of experience to his role. Prior to re-joining BECIS, he led Vector Renewable Energy, a consultancy firm specializing in renewable energy services across the APAC region. Greg also spent 15 years at the Energy Regulatory Commission, where he developed a deep understanding of energy market regulations in the Philippines, focusing on ancillary services, renewable energy, and energy capital projects for transmission and distribution utilities.
Greg holds a degree in Registered Electrical Engineering from the Mapua Institute of Technology, as well as a master’s degree in energy engineering from the University of the Philippines. Additionally, he has completed a Master of Business Administration program.
Ms. Chetnakarnkul, Investment Director, Head of Asia Region Office (Bangkok, Thailand) of the Norwegian Investment Fund for Developing Countries (“NORFUND”).
At NORFUND, she founded Norfund’s Asia office and has been responsible for building, leading, and managing Norfund’s investments in Asia. Prior to joining NORFUND, she worked at the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the World Bank Group in Washington D.C.
Ms. Chetnakarnkul holds a Master’s Degree in Arts – Quantitative Methods and Economic Theory; from the Southeast Asia Studies School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), Johns Hopkins University (Washington D.C.) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics (International Program) from Thammasat University, Bangkok. She has also followed the Director Certification Program (DCP 184, Board Training) of the Institute of Directors of Thailand (Bangkok) and a Fintech certification course at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Senthilkumar serves as the Director of Quality at BECIS, bringing over 29 years of distinguished experience in quality management, ISO implementation, and auditing. His extensive background spans diverse sectors, including onshore and offshore construction, oil & gas, marine, and advanced manufacturing. Prior to joining BECIS, Senthilkumar held leadership roles at several renowned global organizations, most recently serving as the Regional Quality Manager for the APAC region at Exterran, following impactful tenures at Van Leeuwen, Intevac, Samco, and Keppel.

Rajesh Kudlur is a seasoned Environmental, Social, Health & Safety (ES&HS) leader and currently serves as Group Head of ES&HS at BECIS – Commercial Industrial Solutions, where he leads enterprise-wide Zero Harm, Net Zero, and sustainability strategies across multi-country operations. With over 30 years of experience in ES&HS and operational risk management, he has held senior leadership roles across the pharmaceutical, energy, biotechnology, and media sectors, including GE Power, Novartis, AstraZeneca, NBCUniversal, and Netflix.
Rajesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering from Bangalore University, a Diploma in Workplace Safety and Health (Singapore), and an MBA, and is recognized for translating sustainability ambition into measurable, compliant, and scalable business outcomes.
Jonathan Payne is a Managing Director for Berkeley Energy, with current responsibility for the Asian investments, including BECIS. Jonathan joined Berkeley in 2015 and has worked across several functions covering financial management, operations and asset management. He is a member of the investment committees for Berkeley Energy managed funds of AREF, AREF 2, and REAF II.
Mr. Payne is a Chartered Management accountant with over 20+ years’ experience of driving performance in operating businesses. He has extensive experience in M&A activity, financial control, reporting, process and operational improvement, strategic planning, system implementation, and building strong teams. Mr. Payne has held senior finance roles in both the UK and Australia, including as Financial Controller for WRG developing the renewable energy business with TC Kundi. Mr. Payne was also part of the ultimate spin-off of that business into Infinis Plc and helped shape the continued growth.
Zhi is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of BECIS. He is a dual-qualified (Australia and Singapore) corporate lawyer based in Singapore. With a background in leading financing and projects transactions, he focuses on the renewable energy sector, specifically in solar and energy solutions. He has significant experience from working in top-tier international law firms, and experience from advising companies across SEA, North Asia and Australia. Zhi holds a double degree in Law and Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
Eren Ergin is the CEO of BECIS. He has 25+ years of experience in the energy industry creating innovative sustainable solutions to improve operational performance and efficiency, developing, and implementing digitization strategies and leading business operations. Prior to joining BECIS, he served as Vice President & General Manager of Honeywell’s Renewable Energy business, Founder & Managing Director at Calterra Energy and General Manager at TAS Energy EMEA region. Eren started his career at GE Energy and served in various roles in engineering, project management, business development and sales for GE Energy’s gas turbine products and services businesses. Eren holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University.
Hally Huang is the Managing Director, China, Vietnam & Cambodia. He brings over 10 years of expertise in renewable energy project development and investments in his past role of Business Development Director of Symbior Solar and OCI China Co. Ltd. He leads the BECIS China team to help local clients reduce their carbon emissions by offering varied energy solutions. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in China.

Arnaud Dauvillier is Senior Managing Director of Commercial Operations. Arnaud’s career in the energy industry spans more than 25 years, with leadership roles in both Europe and Asia. He is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction as well as driving the execution of key strategic priorities and developed Energy as a Service business for BECIS China and Thailand. Prior to BECIS, Arnaud served for more than 10 years in China, as CEO for Adenergy and Tera (JV between Total Eren and Aden), COO & Project Director for Engie China, worked for 10 years in Engie Cofely France and in particular led operations and development for the West region of France for Cofely Engie.
Pål Helgesen has 15 years of experience with energy investment in developing countries, including serving on boards of many companies. Formerly, he worked with strategy, acquisitions, and business development at DNV, a technical risk management company with operations in more than 100 countries.
Pål holds a Bachelor’s degree (First Class Honors) in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering and an MBA from IESE Business School.
Oscar Hernando Carrillo serves as Senior Equity Investment Manager at Siemens Financial Services since 2019, focusing on equity transactions within the energy, mobility, and healthcare sectors across Europe and Southeast Asia. He holds a director position at BECIS since July 2020. Prior to his tenure at Siemens Financial Services, Oscar gained over a decade of experience in Mergers & Acquisitions at Siemens Energy. He holds an MBA in Applied Quantitative Finance from the University of Nuertingen-Geislingen, Germany, and a Master of Science in Business Administration from the University of Muenster, Germany.
Pedro Valle e Azevedo, is a Board Member of BECIS, having joined the company in July 2020. He is an Investment Director at Siemens Financial Services, with more than 10 years of experience in the renewable energy and infrastructure sectors. Mr Valle e Azevedo has extensive experience in both emerging and developed markets. In his role at Siemens Financial Services, he leads and executes investments in the energy, smart infrastructure, and digital industries. Mr. Valle e Azevedo holds an MSc in Investment Management from Cass Business School in London, United Kingdom and an MBA from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität (FAU) in Germany.
Ms. Diana Leng has over two decades of executive experience within the Banking, Energy & Technology sectors. She has a proven track record in the areas of treasury, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, financial markets, and strategic management. Ms. Leng started her career with ING Group in the Netherlands where she gained experience in banking, insurance, and asset management internationally. As CFO of an international offshore drilling company, she was overall in charge of the finance function, capital, and asset management. As a key member of this management team, she insisted on being a hands-on executive who actively balances the demands of operational excellence and financial risk management in the Energy sector. Most recently she was the COO for a pre-launch Digital Health Platform. It was in this role, Diana gained completely new insights and exposures into a new sector of Healthcare, Health-Tech, and Consumer Market behavior. She successfully grew the company from a small Start-Up to a multi-market, independent, Digital platform across the region. She is passionate about education and mentorship and served as Executive Fellow and Fintech series Lecturer for NUS ACE. Diana holds various independent Board Positions and serves as an advisor to several Start-Ups and entrepreneurs. As CFO of BECIS, Diana is responsible for the Finance, HR, Legal and IT functions. In her free time, she enjoys mentoring young professionals, travelling and photography. She considers keeping up with the curiosity of her two young daughters the most rewarding personal challenge to date.
Ms. Diana Leng holds a Master of Science in International Business and is a proud Alumna of the School of Business & Economics, Maastricht University.
Hein was appointed as FMO’s representative to the BECIS board in July 2019. Hein spent 17 years at Unilever in various financial positions, most recently as VP Finance Unilever SEA. During a break in his Unilever career Hein co-founded www.indenpender.nl in 1999 and developed the business to the leading financial comparison site in the Netherlands. After his Unilever career as an advisor he was involved in a number of M&A transactions in Myanmar. In addition he is a member of the Board of Dawn Microfinance Myanmar since 2015 and also holds a Board opposition at Doh Eain (Our Home) Myanmar, a heritage building conservation enterprise since 2018. Hein lives in Bangkok.
TC Kundi is the Founder and Board Member of Berkeley Energy Limited. He has over 25 years of experience in the renewable energy sector. Previously the Head of Engineering for Hanson Quarry Products, Europe, he was responsible for starting the energy division. He is also the ex-CEO of the Energy Division of the Waste Recycling Group (1994 to 2005), and was responsible for building the largest independent renewable energy business with 400+ employees in UK. He has a strong academic background in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration.
