Whirlpool moves a step closer to their goal of net zero emissions.
Whirlpool has made a global commitment to reach net zero emissions in its plants and operations by 2030.
The Whirlpool project would require installation without impacts to production and also need to be delivered while adhering to all safety protocols during the COVID pandemic.
The onsite solar solution provided by BECIS has moved Whirlpool forward in achieving net zero emissions and also reducing its cost of electricity. Custom-designed mounting structures ensure the solution can withstand high-speed winds while multi-string inverters were used to maximise power generation. An online monitoring and analytics system was also deployed for real-time performance and data monitoring.
