Robinson optimises energy costs and reduces carbon footprint by adopting renewable energy.
Robinson is a Thai department store brand that has more than 47 outlets across Thailand. The company was looking for onsite renewable power generation solutions to optimise the cost of power consumption of its stores located in Mahachai, Kamphaeng Phet, and Chonburi.
Robinson had a need to develop the onsite solutions while three of its outlets were under construction. There was also a need to complete the projects in an average record time of two months and have the solutions delivering power coinciding with the first day of commercial operations.
BECIS commissioned onsite solar solutions for Robinson over three locations. The solar solution was synchronised with diesel generators and the power grid through BECIS controller systems. BECIS also installed an online monitoring and analytics system which allowed O&M teams to control solar power plants remotely.
