We are excited to share with you that BECIS recently hosted a seminar on the topic of “Beyond Solar to reach your Decarbonization target – Take control of your sustainability” in partnership with UOB and Huawei.

The seminar was a huge success, attracting industry experts, professionals, and thought leaders from a variety of backgrounds. The event was started by the opening speech of Mr. Oscar Loza Duran – BECIS Group Head of Business Development, Sales & Offering Management “ The current geopolitical situation mixed with other factors have made the electricity and gas prices go up. This situation coupled with the urgent need to minimize our carbon footprint, is pushing us to imagine innovative ways to generate energy in a more efficient and sustainable way. Solar is part of the answer, but not the only one. As a result, at BECIS we are focusing on EaaS solutions, where companies can access a range of energy services from a third-party providers like us, thereby reducing their energy costs and improving their overall operational efficiency.” Energy as a Service (EaaS) is a relatively new concept that is gaining traction rapidly. This is because EaaS provides businesses with an alternative to traditional methods of energy procurement, and it is being viewed as a way to improve the overall efficiency of energy usage.
Apart from that, Our keynote speakers, Mr. Ugo Bernal – BECIS Director of Commercial Solution, Mr. Kij Nimsawang – Head of Business development BECIS Thailand, Mr. Titinant Trongjaroenchai – Business Development Manager of Huawei Technologies Thailand, Digital Power department, Mr. Komkrid Borpitpitak – Senior Vice President, Corporate Banking, UOB Thailand, offered insightful perspectives on the EaaS for Sustainability Solutions, Digital Power – Sustainable Partner for building a low carbon smart society and Financial partner for the renewable energy ecosystem.
Attendees gained valuable insights into the latest developments in sustainable energy solutions and heard real-life examples of companies that have successfully implemented sustainable energy practices. The seminar also provided an opportunity for attendees to network with like-minded individuals and learn about best practices for reducing carbon emissions. We would like to thank all our attendees, speakers, and partners for making this event such a success. We look forward to hosting more events like this in the future and continuing our efforts to promote sustainability and reduce carbon emissions. Stay tuned for more updates and events from BECIS!
