BECIS is proud to announce its association with HOERBIGER India. We recently installed a 650 kWp ground-mount solar power plant for its facility near Pune. The plant will generate about 1 million units of power annually. This is approximately 50% of the factory’s total annual power consumption.
The solar plant has been installed under the build-own-operate-transfer model. BECIS has invested in the entire project and shall take care of the O&M for the tenure of the PPA.
The project also avails the ‘net metering’ scheme. In this, the excess power generated will be fed into the grid.
The solar plant installed here is one-of-its-kind within the HOERBIGER Group globally. This is a critical step to supporting the company’s mission of reducing carbon emissions. The solar plant will help in reducing more than 850 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
The plant was inaugurated by Managing Directors of HOERBIGER India & BECIS India. We take this opportunity to thank the HOERBIGER team for their support during the execution of the project. We are happy to be a part of their sustainability journey to move towards net zero carbon emissions.
